About the Course
Your day begins by helping yourself to some light refreshments and during this time you can introduce yourself to your fellow course members. Kim will go through what you will be learning throughout the day and the meals you will be cooking.
Most importantly you will be wondering what you may be cooking. Below is an example and this is subject to change:
Salmon & Leek Tortillini
Wild Herb Focaccia
Roman Pan-Fried Lamb
Roasted Red Pepper Risotto
Everybody has their own workstation which is equipped with all the utensils and equipment you will need during the course. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with your area before we start the course.
Once everybody feels at home we will begin the course with a demonstration of the first dish. This gives you the chance to have a look first hand to what is involved and you can ask questions whenever you want. Then it’s time for you to return to your work area and start cooking. There is always help at hand and you will have the recipe to refer to.
Drinks are available throughout the day and we will have regular breaks with a longer break of 45 mins for lunch (which is usually 1pm).
At the end of the day you will take home all of your culinary creations to share with family and friends.
