About the Course
Artisan bread is very varied and on this bread making course you have the opportunity to bake a variety of loaves.
Have a look at the list below for an example of what you will be learning to bake, this is subject to change. There are so many to choose from!
Most of the bread that you buy in the shops are mass produced and lack flavour and texture so we will be using ingredients in a more creative way that will result in a great taste and texture for you, family and friends. The bread almost becomes the center of the meal and compliments what you are serving.
Once everyone has arrived and helped themselves to refreshments there will be a short introduction to what we will doing. We will then continue with the first demonstration of the day where Kim will show you the method for preparing your bread. After this, it’s your turn, you will then return to your individual work station and start making your dough.
Our aim is for you learn at a steady pace so feel free to ask questions or for help at anytime. You will be learning in small groups so you can feel relaxed and enjoy this bread making experience with your fellow group members. There is always someone to help you if you need advice.
Although this course is designed for adults if you have a child (12+years) who you think has the basic skills please feel free to book them on as well.
We take regular breaks including a longer break at lunchtime which is usually around 1pm. Light refreshments are available throughout the day for your to help yourself.

At the end of the day your bread will be packaged ready for you to take home and enjoy.
